MDR is a leading specialist partnership working together with libraries, archives, museums, information providers, and other organisations in the cultural heritage and education sectors.
Contact
Its services include research, consultancy, training, project management and implementation, service development and technical support. It has a strong track record in the creation of new projects and in establishing project partnerships and networks to work with European programmes and funding bodies of many kinds.
It works at a strategic level in the context of initiatives such as European Digital Libraries and the European Directive on Public Sector Information re-use, impact assessment and performance benchmarking.
It has participated in and co-ordinated a number of key European projects, actions and networks in the cultural heritage and learning areas under successive research Framework Programmes, eContent, Grundtvig and Interreg. MDR was the Scientific Co-ordinator of the PULMAN Thematic Network, the CALIMERA Co-ordination Action under IST FP5 and IST FP6 and is a partner in the DILLMULI project to valorise the work of libraries and museums under the Grundtvig programme.
MDR will co-ordinate and manage the project overall, quality assure all deliverables, create and maintain the ENTITLE web environment during the period of the project and make a major contribution to the development of the ENTITLE impact assessment framework.
