Kick-off meeting and briefing
A two-day meeting was held in London on 5th and 6th February 2008. The aim of the meeting was to:
- brief participants on the project concepts, workplan, financial and reporting provisions etc;
- gather preliminary information on policy backgrounds, trends and initiatives concerning the role of public libraries in transversal provision;
- present innovative and stimulating approaches from several countries and ascertain the state of the art in impact assessment in each country.
The meeting was attended by a nominated representative of each partner together with a representative of a key learning sector from their country. Read the Meeting Report.
