Tools for evaluation -The impact of public libraries on lifelong learning

The main objective of the Entitle-project is to develop guidelines and tools on how to measure the impact of public libraries as it pertains to lifelong learning. A public library customer can be young or old, or anything in between. That is the reason why the guidelines and tools should be applicable to all lifelong learning activities that libraries offer different age groups.

Entitle aims to provide an evidence-based framework for broader comparison of activities domestically and between countries. With this framework libraries can prove the impact that their actions have, both at the national and European level.

How can we apply and take advantage of such guidelines and tools in Finland?
